Bunch of strength, Heavy DL WOD

WOD


1A) Muscle Snatch
       95% x 1
       90% x 3 x 1

1B) 2 Position Clean (Floor, Mid Thigh)
       65% x 5 Sets

1C) Jerk
       70% x 3
       75% x 3
       80% x 3 x 2

1D) Close Grip Bench
       70% x 3
       80% x 3
       90% x ME
I got 14 with 165#, Last week I got 13 with 155#...... Stronger every day.

1E) Tricep Ext.
       3 x 12 with 25# DB

Yes I know, what the heck? This is a lot of stuff. But I felt strong through each one. The MS were great, the cleans I felt extremely fast, The jerk I felt strong, CGB I PR'd in one week, Tricep ext. blew up my tri's and arms and lats.

2A) 5 Rounds not for time.
       8 Two for one wall balls - 25#
       20 DB side bends - 50#

This got my breathing going 2f1 wall balls I haven't done in a while but I felt fine on them.

3A) 5 Rounds for time.
       6 Deadlifts - 315#
       36 Double Unders
My time: 5:01

The Hatch squat program is extremely helping my strength. The deadlifts felt easy never got to tough except for the last 2 rounds but even then it wasn't much of a struggle. I haven't deadlifted heavy in over a month but  doing this wod assures me I don't have to worry about it as my strength program has got it covered. Also those 2 days of rest helped.
